A Very Good Week

From 14 September to 16 September 2013, I ran a promotion giving away The Unicorn Rider for free. I'm not sure what happened, but the promotion went down really well in America.

In just one evening, I gave away over 2,000 free copies of the book. That resulted in The Unicorn Rider making it into the top 100 free Kindle books for that day. It was number 2 in the category of "Sword & Sorcery," and was even number 1 in the categories of "Mythology" and "Fairy Tales."

To say I was pleased is a bit of an understatement.

Interest in the second book also gave sales for the other two books in the series a bit of a bump. In just one day I sold more copies of The Wing Warrior than I had in the last six months.
